What Group Dining Requires at Scale

When a tour group arrives for lunch, timely service and good coordination help keep everyone's itinerary on schedule. The Diamond Bar works with group organizers in advance to confirm arrival times, estimated group size, and menu preferences so meals can be prepared efficiently. Staff are experienced in serving organized groups and strive to provide a smooth dining experience while accommodating reasonable dietary needs whenever possible.

After the meal, guests can browse the gift shop, enjoy a scoop from the ice cream shop, or relax in the outdoor seating area before continuing their journey. The outdoor space features picnic tables with umbrellas, lounge chairs, benches, and other casual seating where visitors can stretch, take photos, and enjoy the Wyoming scenery. The property's ranching heritage and authentic Western atmosphere create a memorable stop that reflects the history and character of northeastern Wyoming.

Reservations & Important Info

We are happy to accommodate tour groups; however, we cannot accept unannounced group arrivals. All tour groups must call and make reservations at least one to two weeks before their visit. During the reservation process, we will discuss available group menu options to ensure we can provide the best dining experience for your guests. Advanced planning allows us to properly prepare for your group and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please note that the Campstool Ranch Beef option is generally not available for tour groups due to our limited ranch beef supply. While we proudly serve Campstool Ranch beef, not all of the beef we offer comes directly from the ranch.

What Tour Organizers Need to Know

Tour operators and group leaders planning itineraries through the Devils Tower and Black Hills region ask practical questions about capacity, timing, and coordination.

The restaurant, outdoor patio, and additional seating areas handle motorcoach-sized groups, typically ranging from thirty to fifty passengers, with the ability to stage service for larger parties if needed.

  • How much advance notice is required?

Booking ahead ensures the kitchen can prepare appropriate quantities and the property can allocate seating, though exact lead time depends on group size and season, so contacting early is recommended.

  • What menu options work for group tours?

The kitchen offers hearty meals centered on locally raised beef, with selections designed to accommodate diverse preferences and dietary needs while maintaining efficient service that respects tight schedules.

  • Can passengers access other amenities during the stop?

  • Is the property experienced with motorcoach logistics?

The Diamond Bar regularly serves tour groups traveling between regional attractions, so staff understand parking requirements, timing constraints, and coordination needs that differ from standard restaurant service.
